User Account Control Settings

Changing the User Account Control is optional. User Account Control (UAC) helps prevent potentially harmful programs from making changes to the computer. Specifically, the UAC posts notifications before changes are made to your computer that requires administrator level permission (these notifications are the same function made famous with Vista). Please refer to the Windows Help & Support on this topic and how it affects the security on your system. However, it may prove less frustrating during initial RM installation to set this setting to a low level. This setting can be found under the Windows User Account settings when selecting the “Change User Account Control settings” option.
